With a great heritage of Agriculture background he was the main idea behind JB Seed Corporation. After completing his M.Sc (Hons) in Agriculture he served the nation in the fields of agriculture for 24 years. He step forward to deliver quality seeds to the farmers in order to enhance the productivity. Unfortunately he is no more with us but his legacy is still with JB Seed Corporation and farmers of Pakistan.
In 1998, he co-founded a seed business with Malik Shah Muhammad to provide pure and certified seeds to empower local farmers, producing the certified seeds on their own land. During this journey, he served in various capacities, including as Ex-Deputy Convener of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on "FOOD SAFETY AND SECURITY", Ex-Vice President of the Seed Association of Pakistan (SAP), and Ex-Executive Member of the Federal Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI).
After completing MS/MBA from Hailey College of Banking & Finance in 2017, Mian M Asjad Hussain joined the company with the aim of transforming the business model from conventional to digital to make it accessible for more farmers and easy to connect with them.
After completing his graduation, he joined the company in 2002. He has witnessed the company's growth from producing seed of two crops to now producing seed of eight crops. As the oldest team member, he feels more responsibility on him to make sure the quality of the seed they produce for their farmers, as it is always the quality that matters, not the quantity.
An esteemed Agronomist who is playing the role of an Agrarian in the firm for more than 2 years. He is an agriculture specialist with M.Sc (Hons) in Agronomy from the leading university of Pakistan (University of Agriculture, Faisalabad).
